El mar, las rosas y el sueño perdido is musically closely related to the violin concerto Las flores del mar de la muerte. The music of this violin solo lookes into many expressions: The quiet, the brushed up, the thorned and the beautiful, the close and the longing; just like the sea … the roses … and the vanished dream.
The work was written for Ricardo Odriozola.
