About the work:

Eius in oriente – the latin words come from a gregorian alleluia-sequence for the Twelfth Night. Vidimus stellam eius in Oriente …We see his start in the East. The gregorian fragment of melody appears in this chamber work, which was originally written for the  Ensemble 2000’s rich-in-tradition annual Christmas tour of the Nordic Countries with new compositions of Christmas music.

Reviews:

Mogens Christensens atmosfærerige “Eius in Oriente”
(Jyllands-Posten)
