About the work:

Eius in oriente – the latin words come from a gregorian alleluia-sequence for the Twelfth Night. Vidimus stellam eius in Oriente … We see his start in the East. The gregorian fragment of melody appears in this chamber work, which was originally written for the  Ensemble 2000’s rich-in-tradition annual Christmas tour of the Nordic Countries with new compositions of Christmas music.

Reviews:

Mogens Christensens atmosfærerige “Eius in Oriente”
(Jyllands-Posten)
